Yesterday I dropped my car off to get the tyres serviced, walked down to my JSA/DES appointment and did some window shopping on the way. My worker said a few things that annoyed me a bit but its a future problem (it wasn't anything MAJOR, just stuff I feel like I've tried to communicate that obviously hasn't been understood. Also he is new to working in the disability sector and I know he probably didn't mean to come off this way and it IS a larger systemic issue but some of the stuff he said reeked of [systemic and internalised]ableism. ie. "we don't want you to come across as lazy to centrelink" I honestly don't care if they think I'm lazy or not - I know I'm not. I know I am pushing myself further than I should. I am doing things detrimental to my health to keep a job mate!)
Then I walked back up to the library and waited for my car to be finished. Thankfully it was done by the time I had to go to lunch! Lunch was nice - work lunch I didn't have to pay. Yay!
Went and picked up some camping gear from 4WD Supacentre I ordered.
Fluffed around at home and rested until it was time go to my aunt and uncles to celebrate the graduation of 2 of my nephews (cousin's kids) it was so funny.
Came home and mum helped me a bit with getting some stuff done with my car.
Today I woke up and went to work for Tony for a bit. He'd forgotten to give me a bonus at uch yesterday and I felt so awkward about it but mentioned it to Chris and so he gave it to me. I feel awkwad about it but whatever.
Now I'm writing this when I should be getting ready to leave for a lil trip :I
